Es la que desarrolló un grupo de integrantes locales y de la zona de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en nuestra ciudad. La actividad contó con el apoyo de la Municipalidad de Coronel Pringles.
Las tareas se realizaron el pasado sábado 29 de agosto, desde las 9:30 hasta el mediodía y consistió en la limpieza de terrenos baldíos ubicados en las calles Medina ente 25 y 30; 36 entre Colón y 13; 16 entre Cabrera y Medina y Sáenz Peña entre 59 y 64, entre otras.
Mientras que el trabajo de limpieza era realizado por integrantes de esta iglesia, la recolección y traslado de las bolsas estuvo a cargo del área de Servicios Urbanos de la Secretaría de Planeamiento, Obras y Servicios Públicos de la comuna local.
Sobre esta iniciativa el titular de Servicios Urbanos, Juan David Heredia, comentó “es una actitud para destacar. Hay gente de Pringles y de ciudades de la región que vinieron a limpiar; a ponerse a nuestro servicio y eso es loable. El tema es que también tenemos que pensar por qué sigue habiendo residuos en los baldíos y qué estamos haciendo con nuestra ciudad”. Por último, el funcionario agregó “estoy profundamente agradecido y orgulloso de los miembros de esta iglesia”.
